I had a job interview yesterday with ancestory.com, without having the good sense of checking them out first.

I know what I think, what feelings did you come away with?
As it is, the customer is paying for drug store pictures, made using our Historical Societies facilities, and sold for less than what our Historical Society might charge for one of their collection.
Every time a cable TV company calls, I tell them I will buy only one channel, and for that I will pay up to $5 a month. The math works out great from a sales percentage perspective. Oh well...
I suppose the libertarian point of view might interest some people, but I am an anti-libertarian.
I have considered buying a used $6k film scanner, and converting old negatives, and slides, onto DVD's for people. As a home business, it would be long hours for poverty wages, but that's the plan, for now. I much prefer to be taken advantage of.
what was the outcome of your interview?
